Keep Calm and Carry On

The original Keep Calm and Carry On was a motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939. As a preparation for World War II. The poster was intended to raise the morale of the British public, threatened with widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities.

The "stiff upper lip" that we think of when "we" think of the English/British mentality is clearly at play here. Self-discipline and remaining calm in very trying circumstances. What's more British than that? Over 2 million copies of the original poster were printed, but was hardly ever publicly displayed during the war. What a waste of nice design, but as we all have seen, the poster... and shirts, mugs, scarfs came back with a vengeance.

Keeping Calm is always a good thing. So think clearly what you want to do, and then do it. In a calm way :)
